Today’s agriculture has to be productive, economically efficient, environmentally friendly and socially acceptable.
The Vitirover robots were designed with these goals in order to propose new technical itineraries around key issues (reduction of production costs, reduction of occupational hazards (drudgery, contact with toxic products ….), better management of inputs, reducing of the impact on soil, energy optimization and acquisition / sharing / integration / recovery data).

The first VITIROVER robot is an autonomous and environmentally friendly robot mower for the maintenance of the vine. Totally autonomous in energy thanks to its photovoltaic cells, it is controlled by a smartphone application and works alone in an area bounded by GPS coordinates.
Vitirover was awarded by many professional honors (Oenovation 2010, Vinitech 2012 SIAD 2013, embedded sensor 2013, Academy of Agriculture of France 2013, International Star for Quality (Gold medal 2014)) and selected by Nicolas Hulot Foundation for its ecological qualities.
The second robot is a sensor-robot which operates smart metering in the vineyard (Yield forecasting, early announcement of disease, insect population counting, meteorological records, foot by foot plot mapping, etc.) and sends its readings to a Vine Expert System that turns them into Tool Decision Support for the winemaker.
